Welcome to the Early Childhood Arts Connection

This small company and blog have been created for those who teach and care for children five and younger.  An important goal is to encourage the development of creative learning environments and to support those who want to explore their own creativity and express it through their teaching.

So, if you want to connect:

  • to the creative experiences of your own childhood
  • to creative ideas, whether they are mine, yours or those of the experts
  • to conversations about creative thinking and teaching
  • to other educators, parents and care providers who are looking for creative ideas to share with young children

then please feel welcome to participate in creating a community of teachers and learners who enrich the lives of young children through the arts.

This is a beautiful site Angelique. I’m so impressed. I’m sorry to say that I had never heard of Ben’s trumpet, but I love the story and the illustrations are incredible. I’ll use it and pass it along to the staff at Junction DCC.

What a sad situation that the task force on the importance of art which you’ve included had to depend on a grant from coca-cola!

    Angelique,

This a great idea, which will draw teachers, caregivers, childcare providers, nannies and everyone working with children. Creativity is always a great idea, when it comes to children. Thanks for being creative by creating this blog and sharing it.

What I love about your site is that it is an outlet for creative play – continue to provide your readers with activities that inspire them to allow children to be engaged in artistic and creative play!
